El actor de telenovelas Nick Santino (47) se quitó la vida luego de sacrificar a su perro pitbull ‘Rocco’, debido a una ley en el condominio en el que residía que prohibe la posesión de canes de dicha raza.La Policía de Nueva York informó que Santino fue encontrado en el interior de su departamento y que falleció a causa de una sobredosis de píldoras. Asimismo, se halló una nota junto a su cuerpo en la cual dejó entrever la gran depresión y el fuerte sentimiento de culpa que sentía por la muerte de ‘Rocco’.
“Hoy traicioné a mi mejor amigo. Rocco confiaba en mí y yo le fallé. Él no se merecía esto”, dejó escrito el actor en su misiva, antes de tomar la fatal decisión.
Santino había actuado en las novelas All my children y Guiding light y más recientemente había aparecido en series como Gossip girl o Royal pains.
